Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science: a journal for clinical acupuncturist and Tuina therapist.

The Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science (CN 31-1908/R, ISSN 1672-3597, bimonthly, in English) has been published from 2003 by the editorial department of Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion. Acupuncture and tuina science originated in China, but our journal publishes papers on clinical and scientific researches of acupuncture and tuina science in English in an international scope. The Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science is aimed at the succession and promotion of acupuncture and tuina science, the exchange of the clinical experience of preventing and treating diseases by acupuncture and tuina therapy, and the communication of the theory of meridians and the scientific achievements in this field.

The Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science emphasizes the presentation of the detailed methods of observing and treating clinical common diseases and diseases on which acupuncture-moxibustion has a good effect, the basic knowledge of acupuncture and Tuina, and the basic theory of TCM about acupuncture and Tuina treating diseases. The articles are characterized by practicality, briefness and reproducibility. The main contents include Critical Review, Basic Study (Experimental study), Clinical Study, Clinical Report, Experience of Famous TCM Doctor, Literature Study, Book Review and Acknowledge about methods of observing and treating clinical common diseases.
