An editor reviews submitted manuscripts initially. Manuscripts with insufficient priority for publication are rejected promptly. After the first review by the editor, the manuscript which is suitable for publication is submitted to two reviewers. The reviewers’ identities and the authors’ identities are kept anonymous to each other. The manuscript under review is not revealed to anyone other than peer reviewers and editorial staff. Reviewers are required to evaluate the manuscript and to return comments within two weeks. If the attitudes of the reviewers to the manuscript are unanimous, (1) return the manuscript to the editor-in-chief for rejection; (2) return the manuscript, together with the suggested improvement, to the author for modification and then re-review. If the attitudes of the reviewers are totally different, the manuscript will be sent to a third reviewer at the discretion of the editor-in-chief.
All the papers are peer-reviewed strictly by two reviewers, including the statistical method and any other parts. If necessary, more relative professionals will be invited to review the paper. Accepted manuscripts are edited by another reviewer whose mother language is English, or a translator for correcting syntax errors and taking responsibilities for the accuracy of English expression.
